Second series of the video podcast
“It happens to me too”

Our lives have changed completely since screens, artificial intelligence and the cloud came on the scene. But are we really aware of all the threats we're exposed to on a daily basis?

Find out in the second series of the video podcast “It happens to me too”, where we analyse these technological advances and what role they play in our lives.

Listen to them at:

ivoox

What's waiting for you this new series?

We explore how major technological changes are altering our behaviours and habits, and why we often prioritise benefits over risks.

Our greatest challenge is understanding why we act a certain way in the digital world and learn to do so safely.

Join us on this adventure

Our presenter, Gemma Nierga, and our technology specialist, Toni Noguera, will be accompanied by an expert in the subject, who will help us understand why we act the way we do in the digital world and what tools we have to protect ourselves.

CH 8. Artificial Intelligence: human or machine?

We'll find out the extent to which different AI-powered apps can create messages that are sufficiently real to avoid arousing suspicion. From videos to voices, to texts written by tools like ChatGPT, and even images, logos, articles, songs and harmonies. The line between real and fake is becoming thinner and thinner, and the gap that cybercriminals can exploit, wider and wider.

Collaborator: Marta Villegas, head of the language technology unit at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center.

    CH 9. Search engine term

We will learn to confirm or debunk the information we find online, and how to move around more securely in this infinite universe of digital information.

Collaborator: Bruno Pérez, expert in legal forensics and cybersecurity.

CH 10. Mobile phone: best friend or enemy?

We are going to delve into how these devices have been designed and how they can capture our attention, potentially to the point of addiction. We are going to propose solutions to promote conscious and responsible use, and resources to negotiate screen time with children.

Collaborator: David Bueno, PhD in Biology and professor and researcher in Biomedicine, Evolution and Development at the University of Barcelona.

CH 11. Cyberbullying: what can I do?

What happens when the cyberattack is directed against us, our digital persona or that of our kids? What are the dangers? What protective measures should we know about? We will learn what tools we have and what protection methods apps have to offer.

Collaborator: Selva Orejón, legal expert in specialising in digital identity.

CH 12. We live in the clouds

How do we protect that which we can't access physically? Are we facing a new concept of ownership, or is it based on a simple user licence that we're defenceless against? We propose resources to raise awareness of our digital assets and how to manage them.

Collaborator: Genís Roca, a specialist in business development and transformation and digital culture.
